I am soooooo Happy I got out there felt rested and energetic then ran a great race. There was a kid I have never raced against before and he took second seven seconds behind me. The course was a tad slow today because the grass was frozen and long, and I had to lead the whole way with no one to push me. So I went out there today and had a great race with a time of 11:26 and I am the...

STATE CHAMPION

Next race REGIONALS

im doing a mile later with brother Jared ;ran 1.5 miles with Jared in 12:00.

WAY TO GO!!!! That is so cool that you are 12 years old and so focused! You have a lot ahead of you in life, and not just in running!

Sweet deal man!

It's ok to lead the race. You become tough. Ryan Hall led alot of the trials race today and pushed the pace alone even when he had the win secure.

Anyways, next race, have fun and make the kid behind you breathe!

Congratulations! What an accomplishment. And your long term goals are awesome! You can't do it if you can't dream it.

Good Job! I heard the course might have been a bit long.

Way to run James. You are the champion hope you do welll at region. Our coaches measured the race with a wheel and said it came out as 3k but my dad said they didnt do it with gps

Congrats on the state championship James - well deserved.

FYI - The kid that got 2nd behind you isnt a runner (by training) but he is as a soccer star. He is usually playing soccer at Alex's practices and I think that is only the second time he raced this year
